5 Authentic Tips To Maintain Healthy Looking Hair

By James P Taylor

Like other parts of body, healthy hair is a reflection of good health, and fitness. This is so because hair is the most apparent features of a person. Hair may be of different textures, they may be curly, wavy or straight, but they can make many heads turn in your direction, but only if they look healthy.

1. The most important thing is that you must take proper and balanced diet in order to keep your hair healthy. Proteins make your hair strong, so take food that contains proteins like meat, fish, poultry, and other dairy products. Other vitamins, and minerals that would make your hair healthy are zinc and iron, these are found in abundance in spinach and lentils. Therefore, add these to your diet chart. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Try not to eat fast food, and canned food. Take maximum fruit juices, and drink plenty of water; this will add shine, and volume to your hair.

2. One should do regular exercise. It allows proper blood circulation in the whole body, because of which, the hair follicles get nutrition from the blood. Regular exercise also relieves stress and tension, which is also harmful for overall health of the body.

You may have noticed the change in your hair, and skin when you are going through stressful times. Hair loss gets so worse in some cases that it may lead to baldness. Premature graying of hair is also linked with the stress factor. Regular exercise ensures that your hair retain their bounce, volume, and shine.

3. Massage oil in your hair, and scalp regularly, make it a habit to oil your hair at least once in a week. Massage helps in getting rid of the dandruff and it improves blood circulation to your hair. Oil massaging has many benefits; one of the biggest is that it helps in getting required nutrition to your hair. Many natural hair oils are very beneficial such as olive, coconut, sesame, and mustard oil.

Oil adds long lasting shine and life to your hair. These types of natural oils reduce crimp in hair. So people who are having crimp problem must use natural oils to reduce this problem, this problem normally starts when autumn sets in.

4. Keeping your hair clean will maintain your hair naturally. You do not have to use hair products with strong chemicals to make your hair look beautiful. If you wash your hair regularly at least thrice a week, then there is no reason why you should worry about any hair problem at all (if you have good hair naturally). Use a mild shampoo to wash your hair. Rinse it well, because any residue of the shampoo in your hair might damage them. Use conditioner on the ends only. This will leave your hair soft and nice.

5. Do not avoid trimming. Try to get your hair trimmed at least once in three months. Doing this would remove any split-ends, keeping them from causing more damage.
