Even though many successes are earned on the commercial front, the actual advantages of ethical clothing are something else. First, it abdicates the trend of breaching the rights and authorities of the employees involved in the process of distribution, and secondly it stops processes like black marketing or illegal extra commissions that are given to the middlemen. The overall effect is such that there is a considerable decrease in the cost of production.

However, the gaining recognition of ethical clothing does under no circumstances mean that the concept of fashion is compromised on. A healthier side to a cost effective production does not mean that the consumers will get dull or uninteresting stuff. Such campaigns and communications have augmented the charm of ethical clothing.
