Select The Right Fashion Sunglasses

By Jennifer Smith

Fashion sunglasses can make a statement about you, where you want to go, or just be a cool accessory. There are many styles and types you can choose from, and getting the right pair for your personality is a must.

Any time you purchase a pair of sunglasses, you should always get ones that will provide enough ultra violet light protection. This can help stop damage to your eyes and is vital for good eye health. Sometimes these can be marketed as blue light lenses, and will give protection from UV rays, but also are excellent for the bright light from water and snow, which is considered blue light.

If driving is part of your personality, then there are glasses that are geared toward this activity. For those that drive a motorcycle or convertible, there are foam sealing glasses available. These block out the wind and can keep your eyes from tearing. If you like to drive in general, there are copper lenses that cut the glare down from the sun, making it safer by clearing your vision with the anti-glare. Aviators are also popular, and have been since the middle of last century.

If you want to use these to make a statement, there are plenty to choose from. You can find them with colored lenses that can match or accessorize any outfit, and this can add a bit of glamor to your outfit. If you want to add a bit of fun, or mystique, then the retro look sunglasses may be for you. They make these to mimic the look of Hollywood in the golden age or the punk movement of the 80s. If neither works for you, there are extreme fashion sunglasses that can be very large or very colorful but on the cutting edge of style.

You can always turn to the latest magazine and celebrity photos and choose to go with a designer pair of what is trendy right now. Dior, Gucci and Prada are a small sample of who makes these.

If you have to wear glasses normally, you might not think about getting sunglasses. The cost of these is very affordable now, and getting a pair to protect your eyes will be a good investment for your eye health. Since these might cost more then a pair non-prescription sunglasses, you might want to opt for a classic pair that can last for many years instead of ones they sport the latest trends. Transitional lenses might also be a good compromise, since they give you the UV protection and change based on the light outside.

Fashion sunglasses can be fun, but they should also protect your eyes. You can choose fun, classic or sexy styles in colors and designs that suit you and your personality. - 29871
